The latest news out of Carolina doesn’t look good for running back Miles Sanders. He was able to participate in practice on Wednesday and Thursday in a limited capacity but could not go on Friday. He has been dealing with a groin injury that he just hasn’t been able to beat.
When asked about Sanders on Friday, head coach Frank Reich told reporters that he was “optimistic” about it. However, he added that he still “[needed] to see” how the rest of the week played out for him. Sanders appears truly questionable for Sunday’s Vikings-Panthers game.

They have Chuba Hubbard and Raheem Blackshear on the bench, and Hubbard has looked more than serviceable when called on to replace Sanders. However, the betting market has moved against Carolina — the Panthers were 3.5-point dogs at DraftKings on Wednesday but are 4.5-point dogs as of Saturday afternoon.
