Giannis Antetokounmpo o30.5 Points (NBA Player Prop)
We’re going to start out with a big number, but if I’m taking a big number, there’s a short list of guys I’d do it for — Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of them.
Look, 30.5 points is a large total for this prop, but the Bucks are playing the Bulls tonight. I mean, the Bulls are just … a dumpster fire. We’re not even sure who they’re playing tonight with everyone on the roster likely being on the trade block.
Giannis has cashed the over on 30.5 in five of his last six games, and has already gone for 35 against the Bulls earlier this season. Since the start of last season, Ginnis has played four games against the Bulls, and had 31 or more in three of those games — including a 40-burger.
Yes, the Bucks might absolutely Hulk smash the Bulls tonight, but we know the Bucks defense is awful, so they could allow the Bulls to hang around longer than usual. And, if they DO blow them out, it’s likely coming on the back of a monster Giannis game.
Tyrese Haliburton o10.5 Assists (NBA Player Prop)
This number just felt too low to me. We’ve seen Tyrese Haliburton have assist props north of 12 recently, so the 10.5 felt like something we should jump on.
In fact, I’ve seen this line already move to 11.5 at some spots, so we’re out here moving lines on a Thursday morning.
Obviously, the offense runs through Haliburton, and even the Heat with their Top 10 defensive rating won’t be able to slow him down completely. If they attempt to shut him down scoring, he’s going to find open teammates for buckets.
The OddsShopper Prop Tool was grading this with over a 54% expected win rate as well, so we’re being backed by science. Love that.
Jalen Brunson 022.5 Points (NBA Player Prop)
It looks like we got line movement on this Jalen Brunson points prop as well, but I’m still good with taking it at 23.5.
According to the OddsShopper Prop Tool, Brunson is expected to cash this bet 55% of the time at the 23.5 number, so we definitely found value at 22.5.
The Pistons are just a god awful team, and they got stomped last night against the Lakers (shout out us for calling that and putting it in Wednesday’s parlay picks).
I think we can attack this woeful Pistons team again tonight. They’ll have tired legs, and Brunson is coming off a game in which he scored just 12 points. He’s going to light it up tonight, and we want to get in on it.
Julius Randle o1.5 Made 3’s (NBA Player Prop)
Julius Randle, what was that on Tuesday night?!? A 20-20 game? I didn’t know he had it in him.
Tonight, I don’t give a crap about his rebounds, all I want this man to do is chuck from 3-point range, which we know he loves to do … especially when he’s feeling himself.
This is one of Randle’s highest-graded props tonight, having a 56% expected win rate, so we’re going to roll with the over 1.5 made 3-pointers from him.
