Bears-Commanders Same-Game Parlay Bet: Brian Robinson & Justin Fields Will Run WILD (Oct. 5)

Updated October 5, 2023 | 9:23 am CDT by Nathan Joyce

We took an absolutely BRUTAL beat on Monday’s Seahawks-Giants same-game parlay bet. My guy D.K. Metcalf finished the first half with 34 receiving yards and didn’t get another yard — and barely played — in the second half. Tough runout. Oh well, let’s turn to our Bears-Commanders same-game parlay bet for Thursday Night Football.

We now turn to Week 5, with the Chicago Bears visiting the Washington Commanders, and we’re firing up a OddsShopper’s NFL betting tools to find some TNF player props with high probabilities of hitting.

With these 4 NFL picks for today, we’ll use a 50% parlay boost from Bet365 to pump our profits up even more. If you haven’t yet, take advantage of Bet365‘s promo to get $365 in bet credits. As always, be sure to follow me on Twitter, and make sure to send over screenshots of your winning parlay slips.

Bears-Commanders Same Game Parlay Bet for Thursday Night Football

Brian Robinson 50+ Rushing Yards (Alt Prop)

The Commanders welcome the 0-4 Bears to Washington and currently sit as 6-point favorites. One thing we know is that most home favorites tend to run the ball a lot, which is generally what Washington wants to do. Brian Robinson Jr. is averaging 15 rushes per game and 4.3 yards per carry through four weeks. I expect at least that many on Thursday against the hapless Bears, who are allowing 115.5 rushing yards per game. Robinson has topped 50 yards in three of the four games this year (he finished with 45 last week against the Eagles). In a game Vegas expects the Commanders to be leading at the end, he should get plenty of rushing attempts to top the 50-yard mark with ease.

Justin Fields 25+ Rushing Yards (Alt Prop)

We all saw how the Bears imploded after having such a big lead against Denver a week ago, and Justin Fields was a big part of that. I really like this Fields rushing prop in a bounce-back spot this week. He has rushed for 25 or more yards in 3 or 4 games this season but failed to get there in the drubbing against the Chiefs. We slid this line down to 25, while Fields’ standard rushing prop sits at 47.5, which our tools project him to go over almost 49% of the time. With the Commanders likely being able to get home quite a bit, it seems probable that Fields will be forced to break the pocket and evade Washington -rushers. Not to mention, the Commanders have given up 25-plus rushing yards to quarterbacks in each of their last three games — Jalen Hurts (34); Josh Allen (46) and Russell Wilson (56).

DJ Moore 25+ Receiving Yards (Alt Prop)

It looked like the Bears were clueless on how to use D.J. Moore after a disastrous Week 1. However, Moore has gotten six or more targets each of the last three weeks and has definitely been the apple of Fields’ eye. He has hauled in 17 of his 22 targets since Week 1 and has a pair of 100-yard games. This 25-plus yard line at Bet365 is just a laugher, as Moore could crush this in just one catch. According to OddsShopper’s NFL betting tools, Moore is 50% to go over his standard receiving prop of 48.5 yards this week. I’m already putting a green check mark next to this one.

Field Goals Made (Prop Bet)

This is a dangerous thing to do, but I needed ONE LAST leg to sweeten our Bears-Commanders same-game parlay bet for Thursday night, and I found a good one in the way of field goals made. We’re going to lock in the over 1.5 field goals made in the game. The kickers in this game (Cairo Santos and Joey Slye) have averaged one or more field goals per game through four weeks. The Bears attempted zero field goals a week ago against the Broncos, but the Commanders’ defense should be a bit tougher around the red zone. Further, with how bad Chicago’s defense has looked, Washington should be able to move the ball into field-goal range frequently. Plus, how fun would a parlay sweat be if it came down to a last-second field goal to cash it? That’s true degen stuff right there.
