The MVP odds may be off the board, but don’t tell Lamar Jackson. The Ravens quarterback is playing like a man on a mission to lead his team to the Super Bowl while collecting some hardware. There may not be a better team against which to pad stats than the Texans, at least with ing touchdowns. Houston gives up a league-leading number of ing scores, and Jackson’s offense has big plays written all over the script. Two in the air isn’t a big ask.
Joe Mixon Under 65.5 Rushing Yards
The final piece of our puzzle is complete with another round of fading Houston. This time it’s a guy who is too inconsistent to hit over his total. The Texans might not be in that close of a game, taking Mixon out from a carry standpoint. There’s also the pacing of this game; trying to keep up with Jackson and the Ravens offense isn’t easy. Houston may bail early on the run like we’ve seen other teams do against Baltimore as they justify trying to keep up. That sacrifices Mixon’s rushing yards.
